There’s a reason these drugs work better when you’re not terrified of your own body. Therapy helps. So does talking to your partner. So does not scrolling through 17 Reddit threads at 3 a.m. trying to find the ‘best’ pill.
It’s not about the drug. It’s about the dignity you reclaim when you stop pretending you’re broken.
Take the pill. But also take a breath. And maybe a walk. And then - if you’re lucky - someone will hold your hand. Pills don’t do that.
